At White River’s “The Ark”, we are finalising preparations for our 21 April 2026 opening. With our systems, facilities, and clinical structures in place, our attention now turns to the exceptional team who will bring our vision to life.
We are pleased to welcome three new appointments who will play an essential role in delivering expert care at The Ark.
Dr Elisabeth Weiss joins the team as a Specialist Psychiatrist. With extensive expertise in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment, she strengthens our medical foundation while providing thoughtful clinical oversight throughout each guest’s care.
Nokwanda du Plessis, Clinical Psychologist, brings deep experience in psychological assessment and therapy, embodying The Ark’s balance of robust clinical care and attentiveness to each guest.
Together, these appointments represent an important step as we continue building a multidisciplinary team grounded in integrity, discretion and clinical excellence.
Set within the tranquil surroundings of White River, our new 50-bed mental health facility has been purposefully designed to provide world-class treatment in a private, restorative setting.
By combining clinical excellence with holistic therapies, The Ark offers comprehensive care for individuals navigating trauma, addiction, burnout, and complex mental health concerns.
